A screen that fits in your pen pocket?

This bit of science-fiction is already here thanks to Sony's OTFT-driven roll-up display.



Integrating organic thin-film transistors (TFTs) and OLED technology onto a flexible 20µm backing results in a 432 x 240 pixel 4.1-inch display that can be wrapped around the diameter of a cigarette - even while viewing it!.

Still in the research stage, Sony also claims the manufacturing process has a smaller environmental footprint.
