Watch out later this year for Microsoft's charity-specific release of its Dynamics™ CRM software for non-for-profits and NGOs in the UK ...

The package promises constituent relationship management working 'out-of-the-box', as well as customisations for donation and pledge management, basic membership management, basic volunteer tracking, campaign management, dashboard reports and support for online payment solutions.

Although it appears the UK-specific nature won't extend to gift aid and direct debit functions, it is expected these gaps will be filled by Microsoft's UK partners.
