Facilities Management (FM) is best understood as "hiring your own IT manager for a day" and is usually provided as an add-on to a support contract. It is your chance to tackle your longer term jobs, pro-actively prevent problems and optimise the reliability of the network. Charged per day or number of days.
By booking our engineers for regular or ad-hoc slots, FM provides on-site IT know-how and guidance on a regular basis. This could mean help for your staff with setting up mail merges, using a spreadsheet or configuring printers.
This service is ideal for organisations that do not need a full-time IT person, but do need computer help on a regular basis, or for small IT departments that need extra help from time to time. Because of the range of skills we can offer, time and costs are less than using agency staff or employing extra full-time staff.
Facilities Management is provided in discounted packs of five days or ten days at a time. The cost of purchasing Co-Operative Systems' staff time in this way is much less than our daily rate. Time may be scheduled on a regular basis, for instance one day per week, or purchased in advance and used as required.
