World Jewish Relief

WJR is dedicated to fighting human suffering and serving the urgent needs of Jewish and other communities who are at risk or in crisis around the world; currently much work is being done to assist in Syria.

The Issue

IT systems were regularly crashing, losing staff time and causing considerable frustration. Co-Operative Systems were asked if they could assist.

The Answer

Our approach was a thorough audit plus a pack of remedial measures to bring systems up to scratch where possible, plus a proposal for system improvements to further improve IT systems performance.

Works carried out included strengthening data backup, upgrading infrastructure with a new physical server, running virtual servers (incidentally also usefully reducing power consumption) and improved internet security via new firewalls.

The Outcome

IT system reliability and speed was significantly improved, leading to improvement in morale and better organisational performance.
